Inyo and Mono Counties, California

Potential for change is great in the Eastern Sierras. Projected growth in both the northern Nevada and southern California will have great influence on this region. As the pressures to develop and the technology to support development along the east side of the Sierra Crest increases, the value of land for urbanization grows. Design Workshop was retained to assist both counties in working with the public and private sectors to identify changes to land-use and ownership patterns that will, over time, conserve the rural character and natural resources of the Region and provide for livable communities that can economically sustain themselves.
