Design Workshop Adds Two New Staff Members to Aspen

Aspen, Colorado – Design Workshop, an international landscape architecture, land planning, urban design and strategic services firm with six offices in the U.S. and work spanning the globe, is pleased to announce the addition of Jessie Young as office project assistant and Marcus Pulsipher as landscape architect to its Aspen office.

Jessie Young received her master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning in Sustainable Land Use from the University of Colorado Denver (UCD) in 2010 and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Bucknell University in 2006, graduating magna cum laude. Her previous work experience includes a position as an adventure specialist for The Little Nellin Aspen, Colo., planner and office manager for Stan Clauson Associates, Inc. and internships in research and development for the UCD Center for Sustainable Urbanism and the Colorado Department of Economic Development and International Trade. Prior to joining the Aspen office, Young worked as a project assistant for Design Workshop's Denver office from 2007-2008.

LEED-accredited professional Marcus Pulsipher graduated cum laude in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Utah State University. Pulsipher is a 2007 recipient of the American Society for Landscape Architects (ASLA) Honors Award. He was awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship in 2006 and the John C. Clarke Leadership Scholarship in 2003. Prior to joining Design Workshop's Aspen office, Pulsipher worked as a freelance landscape architect and graphic design consultant and previously for Design Workshop's Denver office from 2007-2008.
